Donald Glover's Atlanta series has been a huge success, scoring the biggest cable comedy debut since 2013. The show has already been renewed for a second season, helmed by Glover and his strong team of writers, directors, and music supervisors.
The show has largely been directed by Hiro Murai, a Los Angeles-based filmmaker who done music videos for Glover, Earl Sweatshirt, Flying Lotus, and more. However, Donald Glover will taking the reins and will make his directorial debut tonight for Atlanta's sixth episode. Glover, who stars in the show as Earnest "Earn" Marks, also directed episode seven. Atlanta airs at 10 p.m. EST on FX.
